Harvest Festival

The Harvest Festival will be celebrated from 22 to 24 September 2023, during the City Festival in the green areas of the Warmer Damm on Wilhelmstraße.

This traditional festival, which is particularly popular with families, is a joint event of Wiesbaden's agriculture and the Green Spaces Office. At over 50 stands, consumers will have the opportunity to find out about agricultural products and to buy fresh products from the region.

On Saturday and Sunday the Harvest Festival of Wiesbaden Agriculture and the Green Spaces Office will be celebrated in the green areas of the Warmer Damm on Wilhelmstraße. On both days the farmers' market is open, where agricultural producers and associations introduce themselves and sell fresh products from the fields and the garden. In addition to musical entertainment, interesting facts from the fields of agriculture and crafts are also presented.

This weekend the park is transformed into a miniature village with stalls, tents and huts. The guests have the possibility to get information on the production of the food and to get in contact with the producers themselves.

The Harvest Festival also has a tradition of presenting old handicraft techniques, and basket makers, coopers, shepherds and potters give insights into their work. Children have a real treat, as the children's farm offers them stroking the sheep and cattle, climbing on the straw bale mountain, sawing tree discs with a hacksaw or riding in a horse-drawn carriage through the park. The foresters of the municipal forest and the Wiesbadener Waldjugend also offer fun throwing targets.
