Living in Wiesbaden

Varied program in the City

From 22 to 24 September 2017, the popular "Wiesbadener Stadtfest" returns to the city’s most attractive squares and districts.

From 22 to 24 September 2017, the Office for Economy and Public Property is once again holding the popular "Wiesbadener Stadtfest" in the city’s most attractive squares and districts. Coinciding with the fall market, harvest festival, automobile exhibition, and many other attractions, it is Wiesbaden’s celebration of the end of summer, the beginning of fall, and the joy of living in the beautiful Hessian state capital.

As in past years, the event will be opened with a unique open-air concert on the "Dern’sche Gelände". In 2017, the city has been able to secure the legendary band "The Hooters" for the highlight concert. The band will perform onstage on Friday, September 22nd, at 8 p.m.

Just like every year on the last weekend of September, the Wiesbadener Stadtfest has lots of entertainment, fun, and enjoyment in store for all guests, large and small, plus a great selection of useful offers. Whether guests come for relaxed shopping or for the many culinary specialties, whether they listen to international live music or have animated conversations on anything from cars and bicycles to handbags – Wiesbaden’s event weekend is always worth a visit.

The city turns orange again, so they say, when the carpet is rolled out for the Wiesbadener Stadtfest to guide visitors to the many event locations. This is the trademark of the festival, which is organized by the city’s Economic Development Association. The association has once again made sure that the festival offered something for everyone, from fashion shows on Wilhelmstraße to cabaret on Obere Webergasse, or chique, efficient, and innovative automobiles on Schlossplatz.

Wiesbaden’s attractiveness as a retail location and the quality of life enjoyed in Hesse’s state capital are never more apparent than during these days of events.
