Worth doing

Kfar Saba covers an area of 5,766 hectares of parks and green areas, and has received several awards for its outstanding environmental protection efforts.

The green lung of Kfar Saba is an area consisting of 101 hectares of green areas and several interconnected parks. Paramount among them is a huge city park in the heart of the city that offers numerous trails, an amphitheatre, extensive lawns, playgrounds, and ramps for extreme sports. In this park, the “Stele for Tolerance“ by Wiesbaden artist Karl-Martin Hartmann was erected and inaugurated in 2012.

Other recommended destinations to be easily reached from Kfar Saba are Tel Aviv, the coastal city of Haifa, Massada, the Dead Sea, and Negev Desert.
