There is good reason why Wiesbaden is rated consistently highly in a variety of shopping city rankings.
The juxtapositioning of individual retailers and the prestigious stores of renowned chains make a stroll through the shops in the state capital of Hessen a very special experience.
Shopping in Wiesbaden - pure fun for the whole family!
Wilhelmstrasse, Taunusstrasse & Quellenviertel
The mix of offers is varied and sophisticated – this is shown, among others, by the boutiques and interior design stores in the Wilhelmstrasse, the antique shops and delicatessens in the Taunusstrasse and the renowned jewellers, goldsmiths and fashion designers in the so called Quellenviertel (hot spring district).
Around the pedestrian zone
Over a length of more than one kilometre in Wiesbaden’s
newly-designed pedestrian area, consisting of the Langgasse and Kirchgasse, there are not only department stores but also large chain stores and countless retailers and eating houses. Little boutiques with unusual accessories, young fashion or jewellery are also to be found all around the pedestrian area. One successful example of this sort of variety in graceful architecture is the latest development, the ”Kleine Schwalbacher Strasse” a small but exquisite shopping street.
Shopping centre
The shopping centre Lilien-Carré at the main train station as well as the Luisenforum in the heart of the city centre offer two attractive adresses for a shopping stroll - even when the weather is bad.
Farmers´ Market
It is hard not to respond to the charm of the Wiesbaden
Farmers`Market, which defines the scene in the city centre twice a week (Wednesdays & Saturdays, from 7 a.m to 2 p.m.).
