Market square

The former city palace of the Dukes of Nassau, built in the late classicistic style, has been the seat of the Hessian parliament since 1946. The new town hall is the seat of the Wiesbaden city administration.

The Luisenplatz is an example of impressive room design in Classicism. On the Luisenplatz is the Roman Catholic Church of St. Boniface, the oldest church in downtown Wiesbaden.
