Wine Estate

San Sebastián has been Wiesbaden's twin city since 1981 and is located on the north coast of Spain in the Basque Country, about 30 km from the border with France. The city is known for its top gastronomy with 19 Michelin stars in the city area. The quality of these restaurants and their creativity radiates to the rest of the restaurants and the pintxobars (pintxo = wooden spit). About 100 of these pintxobars are within walking distance of the 200-year-old car-free old town.

The wine stand offers four wines from Bodega Baigorri. It is located in the Basque part of the Rioja region, Rioja Alavesa, about 150 km south of San Sebastián. The red wines Crianza and Reserva are strong wines with wood notes, mainly from the Tempranillo grape. Predominant are the aromas of dark fruits. Baigorri Rosado is a blend of Viura (55 percent), Tempranillo (25 percent) and Garnacha (20 percent) grapes. The white wine comes from Bodega Granbazán, which is part of Bodega Baigorri. The Albariño grape is responsible for the spicy-dry taste.
