Weingut Trenz

The Trenz family had already been vintners with body and soul for 105 years when the Spätlese was discovered on the Johannisberg in 1775. But for them this is no reason to rest on tradition. Fine wines need commitment and the willingness on the part of the vintner to go new ways. This is the only way to stay at the top. The wines are being increasingly acknowledged by independent parties based on the quality and character. The winery was awarded two grapes as "the discovery of the year 2008" in the Gault Millau guide.
