Weingut Speicher-Schuth

Weingut Speicher-Schuth is a young business which is run in the second generation. Ralf Schuth took over his parents' winery in 1995. Today, some 13 hectares of vineyards are cultivated in top locations in Kiedrich, on which 78 percent Riesling and 22 percent Spätburgunder are planted. The winery is situated in the Gothic village of Kiedrich, one of the best wine growing regions in Germany, in the Rheingau. This Mediterranean type micro climate along the 50 degrees of latitude line provides excellent geological and climatic conditions for the development of the Riesling and Spätburgunder vines typical of the Rheingau.
