The countdown is on. After a four-year construction period, the RheinMain CongressCenter will open its doors to the public on 13 and 14 April 2018. The first event in the new RMCC will be a magic performance by the Ehrlich Brothers on 15 April.

Enjoy a unique atmosphere with some market breakfast and relaxing music at the Wiesbaden farmers’ market on selected Saturdays. Each market breakfast has a designated theme, referring to food available at the market, with mottos ranging from "Variety of the season" and "Barbecue inspirations" to "Berry pleasure".

Equestrians enjoy top-class sport in four disciplines – show jumping, dressage, equestrian vaulting and versatility. Horse lovers can admire all types of horses in sports competitions and at the unique horse show, the Pferdenacht (Night of the Horses). This year's International May Theatre Festival will take place from 30 April to 31 May under the motto of Verdi's "Un Ballo in maschera": "Un sogno lusinghier - A dream full of pleasure and joy". Theatre companies and ensembles from all over the world get together to present pieces from the baroque and modern eras, opera, dance and drama.

Cirque Bouffon will return to Wiesbaden for guest performances, this time in a chapiteau tent set up at the Schlachthof culture park. "Lunatique", the company's latest show for the whole family, a top-class performance by international standards, tugs at the heartstrings and slows down the pace of time.

The exhibition entitled "Fungi – Food, Poison and Mythology" is taking place at the Museum Wiesbaden until 5 August 2018. The museum is introducing more than 1,300 fungi species, including the giant puffball as well as the scarlet caterpillarclub.

On your way to Rüdesheim explore the Rheingau on a boat trip on the river Rhine with the “Primus line”. Return to Wiesbaden by train and stay overnight in one of our hotels.

On a regular basis, the Wiesbaden Tourist Information features a product of the month, presenting Wilhelm filter coffee from the Maldaner coffee roasters in April 2018.
