Collection by Frank Brabant: Beckmann bis Jawlensky

Frank Brabant's collection "Von Beckmann bis Jawlensky" can be seen at the Museum Wiesbaden until 30 September 2018.

The exhibition "Von Beckmann bis Jawlensky" shows the comprehensive art collection of the “Wahl-Wiesbadener” artist Frank Brabant at the Museum Wiesbaden from 13 April to 30 September 2018.

In celebration of his 80th birthday, he establishes an important foundation in 2018: his comprehensive art collection, which mainly contains expressionist and modernist tendencies of classical modernism of about 600 works, will be connected to the State Museum in Schwerin and the Museum Wiesbaden in future.

The exhibition "Von Beckmann bis Jawlensky", which presents not only many highlights of famous artists but also the broad spectrum of art of the first half of the 20th century, makes it clear that Frank Brabant's collection fits in seamlessly with the collection of Classical Modernism at the Musuem Wiesbaden.

Works by Otto Dix, George Grosz, Wassily Kandinsky, Käthe Kollwitz, August and Helmuth Macke, Franz Marc and Emil Nolde will be on view.
