Cultural advisory board election
The next Cultural Advisory Board election will take place on June 23, 2026.
The choice
The Cultural Advisory Board is reconstituted every four years, effective September 1 of that year. To this end, cultural institutions in Wiesbaden and the political groups in the City Council nominate a total of twelve members. The remaining 13 members are directly elected by Wiesbaden residents aged 16 and older.
The next election is on June 23, 2026. This means you can vote for candidates from the various cultural sectors. To participate in the vote, you must request login credentials—just as you would for an absentee ballot. This will be possible starting May 27. You must have cast your vote by 4:00 p.m. on June 23 at the latest.
Citizens without internet access can vote in person at polling stations and local government offices.
