There's nothing better than whiling away the afternoon in a café. A few new ones have opened in Wiesbaden - have you discovered them yet?

At "drink&bloom" in the Dichterviertel district, Vanessa Dyrda offers not only coffee specialties, drinks, croissants and fresh cakes, but also cut flowers. She makes the beautiful wildflower bouquets herself. There are also child-sized chairs on the terrace for younger guests, who can help themselves to the toy box or draw with chalk. The "Babyccino", which consists mainly of frothed milk, is free of charge.

At "Nini" in Friedrichstraße, you can enjoy a coffee, matcha or protein shake in the morning and get to know Wiesbadeners at the after-work party in the evening. In addition to Strawberry Matcha Latte, Banana Pudding Matcha and Iced Beauty Coffee, there's a wide variety of paninis.

The "Overflow" in the old town is a meeting place for the generations, who are spoiled with croissants, quiches, cicchetti and homemade cakes. There are also creative workshops, readings, evenings with live music and films and open-mic sessions, where you can perform spontaneously on stage as the mood takes you.

"Niques" is an abbreviation of the owner's first name and is pronounced with a long "i", as the doormat at the entrance shows. In addition to snacks and drinks, there are mainly matcha and coffee specialties, bagels and cookies. Yoga and Pilates classes, small exhibitions and creative workshops are also on offer.
