Educational Summer Tour Wiesbaden

From June 15-16, our team welcomed 12 event planners from all over Germany to the Educational Summer Tour through Wiesbaden and the Kurhaus and RheinMain CongressCenter (RMCC) locations. They enjoyed an exclusive discovery tour and workshop on the topic of AI.

24 hours of inspiration, AI and congress expertise

What was the goal?

To impart practical knowledge about the conference destination Wiesbaden Rheingau, modern event locations, service offerings and the use of artificial intelligence in event planning in just 24 hours.

What the participants say

Andrea Krögel (BME Akademie GmbH)"I really enjoyed exploring Wiesbaden and the RMCC with you. It was exciting, I learned new things and met interesting people. The "24 Hours of Wiesbaden" were very well organized - you are real professionals."

Horst L. Bauer (H.U.T. GmbH)"I was lucky enough to arrive on Sunday. This gave me the opportunity to get to know the new, impressive location in peace and quiet and to have initial discussions with the other participants in a pleasant atmosphere. On the second day, we got straight into the program. I was impressed by the methodological approaches, the impetus and the exciting results."

Sabina Trovato (Boehringer Ingelheim Pharma GmbH & Co. KG)"My interest in AI attracted my attention to this event. I was interested to find out whether there were things that could be simplified for me in my day-to-day work. The biggest realization for me was that AI offers us many possibilities, most of which we are not even aware of."

How did it go?

After arriving individually via Wiesbaden Central Station, which is within walking distance, the guests moved into the Intercity Hotel in the immediate vicinity.

At the welcome dinner at the new WALD.WEIT Rheingau Hotel & Retreat in Kiedrich, the focus was on initial discussions and a presentation of the conference facilities.

The tour kicked off on June 16 with an intensive AI workshop at the RheinMain CongressCenter (RMCC), led by Steffie Eckert and Daniel Pietschmann (Seibert Group GmbH). The focus was on the following topics:

  • Fundamentals and development of AI - from machine learning to generative AI
  • Tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, NotebookLM or RunwayML in practical use
  • Creative use of prompting, image and text AI
  • The role of AI in automation and decision-making processes
  • Development of your own event use cases with AI support

The tour then continued on foot through the city center, with stops at the Kurhaus Wiesbaden, the Tourist Information and the RMCC. A presentation on the Platte Hunting Lodge rounded off the tour.

The focus: sustainable event concepts, supporting programs and the comprehensive services offered by Convention Wiesbaden, including location consulting, hotel bookings and sustainability.

Conclusion

The Educational Tour once again confirmed that crucial know-how can be gathered in just 24 hours - efficiently, practically and inspiringly. Ideal support for anyone who wants to find out about new event venues.

With locations such as the RMCC, the Kurhaus Wiesbaden and the Jagdschloss Platte, as well as a wide range of services and supporting programs, Wiesbaden is an ideal destination for conferences and congresses. For many participants, it was a new discovery - centrally located, within walking distance and full of character.
