Kurhaus ensemble becomes the open-air stage of the summer
With "VIBRANCY", the concerts of the Rheingau Music Festival and "SUNSET & SOUND", you can see how versatile the Bowling Green, Kurpark and concert shell can be used for high-quality event formats.
The Kurhaus Wiesbaden truly comes into its own in the summer: the combination of stately architecture, spacious outdoor areas, and an atmospheric park creates an exceptional setting for open-air events.
The summer of 2026 demonstrates just how versatile the Kurhaus complex can be, with a variety of event formats. The season kicked off with the daytime event “VIBRANCY” (opens in a new tab) on Pentecost Saturday in front of the Kurhaus. Several thousand visitors celebrated to house and electronic beats on the Bowling Green. With international acts such as CamelPhat and Fritz Kalkbrenner, the event brought a modern festival atmosphere to one of Wiesbaden’s most iconic locations.
The Rheingau Music Festival (opens in a new tab) will also take advantage of the Kurpark’s unique setting in July. The program at the Hessenbühne stage by the concert shell includes the “British Film Music Night,” “London Lights! West End Musical Hits,” the “FFH Night of Pop” featuring Michael Schulte and Zoe Wees, and a concert by Tom Odell.
On August 15, 2026, “SUNSET & SOUND” (opens in a new tab) will follow as another open-air event in the Kurpark. From 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., the concert shell will transform into a summery stage for electronic music, a relaxed atmosphere, and high-quality culinary offerings.
