Pleasure fair all about whisky
For three days, over 10,000 visitors from Germany and abroad experienced a unique combination of trade exhibition, cultural program and exclusive tastings - embedded in the magnificent setting of the neoclassical Kurhaus.
The move from Frankfurt to Wiesbaden marked a milestone in the history of InterWhisky. With its nine stylish halls, including the impressive Friedrich-von-Thiersch-Saal, the Kurhaus was the ideal stage for over 80 exhibitors and more than 3,200 whiskies from all over the world. The generous room layout enabled a flowing trade fair experience with short distances between the exhibition, master classes and gastronomy. Around 10,000 visitors immersed themselves in the fascinating world of whisky over three days - accompanied by a supporting program:
- Master & Grand Master Classes with renowned whisky experts from all over the world
- Free forums for knowledge transfer and inspiration
- Live Scottish music, stylish lighting and whisky cuisine from the Benner's kitchen
- An exclusive Highland Anniversary Dinner in a festive setting
- And as the grand finale: the ceremonial presentation of the Whisky Ambassador Award

With InterWhisky 2024, the Kurhaus Wiesbaden has once again proven its versatility - as a stage for top-class trade events with emotional added value. The move to Wiesbaden was perceived as an enrichment by guests, exhibitors and the organization team.

And indeed, once you've had a chance to get your bearings, you quickly get the impression that the Wiesbaden Kurhaus and InterWhisky have always belonged together.
A special highlight of InterWhisky 2024 was the festive Highland Anniversary Dinner, which took place in the stylishly illuminated Christian-Zais-Saal (opens in a new tab). The historic room, characterized by clear architecture, elegant stucco ornamentation and excellent acoustics, provided the perfect backdrop for an evening full of enjoyment, encounters and music.
The guests experienced a seated dinner at the highest level, which not only delighted them with its culinary delights, but also its atmosphere: fine wines accompanied each course, while live Scottish music provided an authentic flair. Between crystal chandeliers and soft lighting, an atmosphere was created that united tradition and the present - in keeping with the motto: celebrating the water of life.
The versatility of the Kurhaus was impressively demonstrated on this evening: overnight, the venue for the lively trade fair events was transformed into a festive banquet hall with international flair. For event planners who value exclusive formats and atmospheric settings, the Christian-Zais-Saal is a real gem.
