Mr. Schröder - The rest is homework
Two evenings, one classroom and lots of humor: Mr. Schröder returns to the Kurhaus Wiesbaden with his current solo program "The rest is homework" and takes the audience on an entertaining journey through normal school madness.
On Wednesday, March 3, and Thursday, March 4, 2027, the Kurhaus will be saying: “Get out your tablets, log in, and join in.” As the self-proclaimed longest-serving young teacher and a human overhead projector, Mr. Schröder sheds light on everyday life amid teacher shortages, digitalization, and circle time in his new “double period.” With plenty of wit, energy, and relatability, he shows why school today often feels like a real challenge—while simultaneously offering a humorous solution.
Behind the character is Johannes Schröder, a trained German teacher and successful comedian. After years in the teaching profession, he was drawn to the stage, where he quickly made a name for himself. His shows regularly sell out, his social media content reaches an audience of millions, and he is also a welcome guest on television. Among other awards, he has been honored with the “Stuttgarter Besen” and the “Prix Pantheon.”
