With Elgato's Cam Link 4K, you can connect your DSLR, camcorder, or action camera directly to your PC or Mac. The computer recognizes the camera as a webcam, making it compatible with virtually all platforms (the “CameraHub” software must be installed). Stream your video in significantly higher quality than a standard webcam. Ideal for use at theater performances, conferences, training sessions, and more.

Go on air with the image mixer from Blackmagic Design and broadcast the school enrolment, the big band concert or the graduation ceremony as a stream on various platforms. Connect up to four cameras simultaneously via HDMI and switch the live image back and forth between the cameras at the touch of a button. Many other settings can be made using the free ATEM Software Control software. The live stream can also be started with just a few clicks. We will be happy to explain which other devices you need and what else is possible in a personal consultation.

Why does our brain have folds? What does each part of the brain do? And what does a robot actually have to do with it? At first glance, the brain seems abstract and hard to grasp for elementary school-aged children, since it is hidden inside the head and cannot be seen from the outside. The goal of this newly developed lesson series is to make the brain’s structure and key functional concepts tangible for elementary school students. The children take on the role of brain researchers themselves and, through their own experiments, discover the answers to questions about the brain. In the process, they learn that the brain is fascinating, that anyone can explore it, and that it’s worth protecting.

The lesson series is designed to last five to eight class periods. With this series, the Hertie Foundation brings together its expertise in the fields of neuroscience and education: new experiments, worksheets, and instructions were developed in collaboration with neuroscientists, educational researchers, and schools. All materials are loaned to schools free of charge. Teachers can implement the series independently in social studies classes. To do so, they receive “brain researcher kits” containing materials, worksheets, and instructions. The content of the series is aligned with the core curriculum for social studies.
