With the TinkerToys software, your pupils learn how to construct 3D objects without any prior knowledge. They build their object from various basic shapes and can then have it printed, almost like printing on paper. There are four printers available for you to borrow. We will be happy to give you a briefing when you borrow them or you can come along in advance and try them out for yourself.

Elgato's Cam Link 4K allows you to connect your SLR camera, camcorder or action cam directly to your PC or Mac. The computer recognizes the camera as a webcam and can therefore be used for almost all platforms (the "CameraHub" software must be installed). Stream your image in significantly better quality than a webcam. Useful for theater performances, conferences, training courses, etc.

Go on air with the image mixer from Blackmagic Design and broadcast the school enrolment, the big band concert or the graduation ceremony as a stream on various platforms. Connect up to four cameras simultaneously via HDMI and switch the live image back and forth between the cameras at the touch of a button. Many other settings can be made using the free ATEM Software Control software. The live stream can also be started with just a few clicks. Why does our brain have wrinkles? Which area of the brain does what? And what does a robot actually have to do with it? At first glance, the brain is abstract and difficult to grasp for children of primary school age, as it is invisible from the outside and is located inside the head. The aim of the newly developed series of lessons is to make the structure and the most important functional concepts of the brain tangible for primary school pupils. The children slip into the role of brain researchers themselves and find the answers to questions about the brain through their own experiments. In doing so, they learn that the brain is exciting, that anyone can explore it and that it is worth protecting.

The series is designed for five to eight lessons. With this series, the Hertie Foundation combines its expertise in the fields of neuroscience and education: new experiments, worksheets and instructions have been developed together with neuroscientists, educationalists and schools. All materials are lent to schools free of charge. Teachers can carry out the series independently in subject lessons. They receive brain researcher boxes with materials, worksheets and instructions. The content of the series is based on the core curriculum for science lessons.
