Purpose of processing
We process your personal data or that of your child for the organization, implementation, preparation, and follow-up of the creative program for which you or your child have registered. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; for programs directed specifically at children, the special rules regarding children’s capacity to consent apply.
Categories of data processed
The specific data we process is listed in the registration documents and consent forms you have completed. Health information is collected only if necessary for care purposes. Special categories of data are processed only with separate consent and only to the extent strictly necessary.
Recipients
Data is only shared with internal departments of the Media Center and with external service providers and cooperation partners to the extent necessary for the provision of services (e.g., freelance staff, IT service providers). Data will not be transferred to third countries without separate notification and a legal basis.
Retention Period
Data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the stated purposes; unless otherwise agreed in the completed consent forms for the creative program, your data will be deleted after 5 years at the latest.
Withdrawal of Consent
You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future; the withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to the withdrawal. For certain data, there may be different rights regarding withdrawal. This is explained, if applicable, in the consent form for the creative offer.
Data Subject Rights
You and, if applicable, your child have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing, provided the legal requirements are met. To exercise these rights, please contact the controller listed above. Further information on data subject rights can be found in the GDPR.
