Studio-Ready Poetry Slam Contest & Workshop
Poetry Slam Meets Video! Together with Mali Carillo, the U20 Hesse and German-language poetry slam champion, we’re creating a workshop that brings words and images to the stage.
Do you have your own poetry slam piece that’s ready for the stage? Then send it to us and secure your chance to win a spot in the two-day workshop. No prior knowledge or stage experience is required to participate.
In this free workshop, you’ll work together to refine your pieces. You’ll also have the opportunity to produce a short audiovisual piece in the Media Center’s studio. This will be shown before or during your performance. It can, for example, set the audience in the right mood for the piece or the performer, enhance or contrast the atmosphere, or provide new inspiration. The possibilities range from sounds and music to abstract color gradients and visual worlds, all the way to staged scenes.

Studio specials on Saturday
The Studio Specials are part of the free Studio program. The program is open to young people up to and including age 26. Participants can actively get involved and contribute their own ideas for workshops.
