Under the motto “LET’S PLAY – Have the Courage to Get Involved,” young people between the ages of 14 and 21 can put their courage to the test. They’ll compete against politicians in table soccer, video games, and mini-games—a casual setting for discussion, fun, and getting to know one another. In the process, young people have the opportunity to directly share their concerns and ideas. The project is organized by the Wiesbaden Youth Information Center and the mitWIrken office.

We were there with a mobile podcast studio both in 2024 and on June 27, 2025. Up to four of you could simultaneously conduct an exciting interview with a politician and record it as a podcast.

In collaboration with the Wiesbaden Music Academy, students worked together to record and edit a radio play—*Rikki-Tikki-Tavi*, based on a story from Rudyard Kipling’s *The Jungle Book*—in our studio. The radio play features original, self-produced sound effects, multiple narrators, and, of course, recordings of instrumental music sequences.

Ten young people conceived, rehearsed and performed a multimedia play in the city library as part of our studioreif project with the Junge Staatstheater.

Together with various media professionals, the young people used our equipment to take light painting photos and produce and record short videos and audio sequences that were integrated into the play. The premises of the city library were also incorporated into the story, so that the performance was linked to a tour of the library and a particularly dynamic and interactive theater experience was created.

Together with the Office of Social Work (wi&you: “Schöne Ferien”), we have been organizing film-themed events for many years and, for about two years now, media workshops during school breaks as well.
