Get creative

media-ready

We have expanded our offerings to include a new service. On October 1, we launched a new project website called “medienreif,” which now connects young media creators from Wiesbaden digitally. Here, they can introduce themselves, share their ideas and projects, and work together to get new initiatives off the ground.

Media Center Wiesbaden e.V.

The idea for “medienreif” emerged from the media education work of the Media Center. In workshops and projects, we repeatedly see that participants stay in touch with one another afterward and want to continue exchanging ideas. This is exactly where “medienreif” comes in: The platform brings young people together digitally and provides a space for new ideas and collaborative projects.

The program is aimed at young people ages 12 and up who have already taken part in Media Center programs—such as “studioreif” workshops or the “filmreif” short film project.

Have you already completed a project at the studio or with filmreif, or have you participated in a seminar or workshop at the Media Center? Then join the community and send us an email at medienreifmdz-wide.

Bringing Creativity to Life

Anyone who signs up can create their own profile using various details. The Media Center then uses this information to create a personalized profile with an avatar. Among other things, users can showcase their own projects and behind-the-scenes footage—for example, related to the short films from *filmreif*.

This makes users’ own ideas visible without requiring a separate website. At the same time, users can network with one another through the platform, exchange ideas, support one another, and launch joint projects.

Safe and Easy Travel

To ensure that the exchange takes place in a secure environment, the network is moderated by the Media Center. The Media Center is also responsible for the content and data: The website and the data stored there are hosted on the Media Center’s servers.
