The Fritz Rothenbach winery is located in the heart of the Rheingau in the wine town of Oestrich. For more than 280 years, viticulture has been both a task and an obligation for the family. On more than eight hectares of vineyards, spread over eleven top locations in the Rheingau, mainly the classic Riesling grape variety is cultivated. In the red wine area, Pinot Noir, Portugieser and Dunkelfelder are planted. A specialty is the development of the Frühburgunder grape into red wine with Prädikat. This grape variety is a real rarity in the Rheingau.

The in-house sparkling wine production according to the rules of the "Méthode champenoise", the Rotling - an interesting summer cuvee -, own grape juice production as well as wine yeast brandy from Riesling yeast and the sparkling wine called "INSPIRATION" underline the individuality of the offer.
