The Nikolais in Erbach are a real family winery. They have been growing wine in the Rheingau since 1824 - and are now in their fifth and sixth generation! Their name has a long tradition, both in wine and in history. Derived from the Greek "Nikolaus", it means "victory of the people" - a great meaning in the family's opinion.
