The Schreiber winery is a family business. Three generations have worked hand in hand in the 9 hectares of vineyards, planted with 88% Riesling, 8% Pinot Noir, 2% Merlot and 2% Pinot Blanc. Some of the vineyards belong to the Catholic parish of St. Peter and Paul. The wines from these vineyards are vinified and vinified separately. The winery is in the process of converting to organic viticulture. With much love and commitment, wines rich in nuances are produced, which are characterized by diverse fruit aromas and a pleasant acidity. Uwe Schreiber and his son Simon attach particular importance to ensuring that each wine retains the character typical of its location and terroir, as well as its vintage-specific character. In their own sparkling wine cellar, selected wines are processed into sparkling wine using the traditional bottle fermentation method. State prizes of honor in 2000, 2003, 2005, 2013 and 2015 as well as numerous awards speak for the high quality of the wines and sparkling wines.
