The Wagner-Weritz winery is a small family business that was established in Erbach in the Rheingau in 1971 through the merger of the Wagner and Weritz wineries under this name. Since January 1, 2000, the winery manager has been master winemaker Johannes Weritz. He is married and has three daughters. The two older daughters help as employees in the winery. Our vineyards are cultivated as close to nature as possible, whereby we also make sure that we have mainly wild herbs and not just grasses for planting. For plant protection, we use products from integrated viticulture. We tolerate higher damage thresholds than usual. In principle, NO herbicides are used.
