Schönleber-Blümlein Winery

The Schönleber and Blümlein families have been growing grapes since 1746 and 1792 respectively. Now in the twelfth generation, they cultivate ten hectares of vines, for which "Tom" Hillabrand takes responsibility. Born in Franconia, the graduate oenologist and proven expert in the vineyard practices high-quality viticulture in harmony with nature. The basis for this are expertly tended vineyards, over 40 percent of which are located in the privileged "Erste-Gewächs" vineyards. Particular attention is paid to the old vines, which provide them with highly ripe, extract-rich grapes at very low yields. 45 percent of these vineyards are over 30 years old.
