The Johannes Ohlig winery is located in the historic Zehntenhof, built in 1591 in the Winkel district. Today, the winery cultivates around 18 hectares of vineyards. Starting with a large proportion of wine trading, the main business has increasingly shifted to direct marketing from the winery. Half of the wine is sold to end consumers and the other half to specialist retailers and restaurants in Germany.
