It is with great pleasure that I would like to present the 2017 Klostermühle wine collection. Our family has been running the Klostermühle in Kiedrich for more than 230 years. Today, I am the 8th generation to stand for the quality promise of the manufactory in the vineyards. A few years ago, I changed my internal estate classification: HEIMAT - VIELFALT - LEIDENSCHAFT stands for the philosophy of my estate. The Rheingau is our root, our HOMELAND - my claim: to produce unmistakable and classic Rheingau wines. At the same time, for me the Rheingau is more than just Riesling. The DIVERSITY of grape varieties is what makes viticulture so special. And I am passionate about the top vines of the Klostermühle. Really old vines, yield reduction, gentle and sustainable vineyard work.
