The Finance Symposium in Wiesbaden - a new chapter at the RMCC

Financial Symposium 2026

With over 3,000 participants, 270 speakers, 160 presentations and 120 partners, the 2026 Finance Symposium was a strong signal for Wiesbaden as a congress location and the RheinMain CongressCenter (RMCC).

Initial situation

Last year, Exhibitor Day laid an important foundation: sponsors, partners, and exhibitors had the opportunity to get to know the RMCC and Wiesbaden as a destination firsthand at an early stage. Rather than abstract floor plans, the focus was on real-life impressions, face-to-face interactions, and concrete opportunities.

Why the RMCC is convincing

For over 35 years, the Finance Symposium has been one of Europe’s leading events for treasury and financial management. The move to Wiesbaden marked not only a change of location but also a strategic evolution of the event.

The RMCC offers ideal conditions for this:

  • Modern technical infrastructure
  • Flexible room and hall layouts with room for growth
  • High-quality networking and lounge areas
  • Short distances and excellent accessibility in the Rhine-Main region
  • Sustainable event standards
  • Close collaboration and a strong focus on service

In particular, the combination of spacious areas, modern architecture, and efficient visitor flow underscores how important a well-designed venue is to the success of a major conference.

From Exhibitor Day to a successful congress

Exhibitor Day in August 2025 offered the first opportunity to experience the potential of the new venue: sample booths in the North Hall, high-quality sponsor areas, hotel tours, and one-on-one meetings with the team at Wiesbaden Congress & Marketing GmbH helped build trust and provide planning certainty well in advance.

This approach paid off: Many partners were able to strategically plan their presence and sponsorship areas well in advance and familiarize themselves with the new environment.

The result was clearly evident at the 2026 Finance Symposium: a high quality of the event experience, extensive networking opportunities, and an atmosphere that optimally supported exchange, knowledge transfer, and interactions.

The spatial possibilities of the RMCC were also utilized in a unique way: For the first time, a spacious podium was set up in the central foyer, serving as an open speaker’s stage and a meeting point for professional exchange. The open concept ensured additional visibility for the content and created a new dynamic within the congress proceedings.

Another highlight was the gala evening in the South Hall. The transformation of the hall into a high-quality event venue for networking, socializing, and evening entertainment showcased the versatility of the RMCC and provided participants with a special setting for personal interaction.

Wiesbaden as a congress destination

In addition to the RMCC, the destination of Wiesbaden also played a key role: short distances between hotels, the convention center, and downtown, a high-quality culinary scene, and the city’s excellent quality of life create ideal conditions for multi-day professional conferences.

The 2026 Finance Symposium illustrates how modern conference infrastructure, professional collaboration, and a strong destination can collectively create added value—for organizers, partners, and participants alike.
