Connichi - an anime manga convention
Connichi is a volunteer-organized event centered on anime, manga, and Japanese popular and youth culture—in short, an anime-manga convention.
September 3–5, 2027, at the RMCC
It takes place every September at the RMCC in Wiesbaden and is the largest convention organized entirely by volunteers in the event series of the sponsoring association, Animexx e.V., as well as in the German-speaking world.
What can visitors expect?
From September 3–5, 2027, the volunteer team, together with the visitors, will once again bring the charm of Connichi to the Kurhaus Wiesbaden. Connichi stands for an event by fans, for fans—a cozy place to create unforgettable experiences together.
Several thousand people visit the city for the Connichi events. Many participants go to great lengths to dress up as characters from the world of anime and manga. In addition to the main event, Connichi offers a platform to showcase creative costumes and have them photographed.

So that Connichi visitors can get to know Wiesbaden, Wiesbaden Congress & Marketing GmbH is organizing a supporting programme for Connichi visitors: this includes an exclusive photo spot tour to Wiesbaden's highlights with the small light rail THermine.
The THermine will make two trips on the Saturday of the event to the most beautiful places in the city, including the Wiesbaden Kurhaus, the Neroberg and the Nerobergbahn. In addition, the rooms of the Wiesbaden Kurhaus will be made available for an exclusive cosplay photo shoot. Interested parties can register in advance for several slots and take photos in the Kurhaus.
