Newsletter "Umweltinfo Wiesbaden"
The "Umweltinfos Wiesbaden" newsletter from the Wiesbaden Environmental Agency provides information on nature and environmental issues in Wiesbaden.
Dear reader,
Did you know that almost 80 kilograms of food per person in Germany end up in the bin every year? A frightening figure - and a good reason to make a change. In our environmental tip, we show you ten simple but effective measures you can take to significantly reduce food waste.
For the gardening fans among you, we recommend the Orangery's spring plant market. There you can discover over 50 different old seed-resistant varieties of tomatoes and peppers, chilies, jalapenos, cucumbers, various organic herbs and much more.
In keeping with the start of the cycling season, the newsletter also contains tips for cyclists. Find out where you can attend bicycle repair workshops, how you can swap the kilometers you've cycled for a bird's nest box and where the cycling trend in Wiesbaden is heading.
Best regards
