Four new hotels for Wiesbaden

Four new hotels will open in Wiesbaden by the end of 2020. Developing overnight accommodation capacities is important in order to be able to promote the city's its attractiveness as a conference and convention location.

A modern three-star superior Best Western Hotel offering 165 rooms has been erected close to Wiesbaden’s central railway station, in the new VERSO quarter. A hundred and ten underground parking spaces and an adjacent fitness area round off the offer.

In future, both business and private travellers will find overnight accommodation at the Holiday Inn Express Wiesbaden hotel in Abraham-Lincoln-Straße 1. The facility with an area of around 8,000 square metres and 162 beds is part of the IHG Interconti Hotel Group, and is scheduled to open in June 2019. The new building, which is located close to the city centre, comprises six upper floors and an underground car park. The topmost section of the building will be a floor-high, elevated attic, which will be visible from afar and thus characterise the appearance of the new construction. The ground floor with its modern open lobby concept will also have a generous amount of glazing to radiate openness.

From August 2019, business and city travellers can also stay at the new twice hotel wiesbaden, located at Otto-von-Guericke-Ring 5 in Nordenstadt. The 45-room bed and breakfast hotel is set to impress guests with its unique design concept and absolute feel-good factor. Although it is a bed and breakfast hotel, guests will be able to enjoy tapas, pinchos, and snacks at the bar. There will also be a fitness room and an infrared sauna.

An Intercity-Hotel with some 200 rooms will be built in the immediate vicinity of the central railway station, in Klingholzstraße. Its completion is scheduled for the end of 2019/beginning of 2020. In addition to trendy catering based on a concept by Pierre Nierhaus, customers may also look forward to an innovative Matteo Thun design concept.

The Australian Adina chain has secured a location on Taunusstraße in the Kureck district. The opening of the facility offering 128 fully equipped studios and apartments measuring at least 30 square metres is planned for the end of 2020. Another highlight of the house will most certainly be the rooftop bar overlooking the city.
