Lionel Richie, the international superstar, will be hitting German open-air stages this summer presenting his Hello Tour 2020! Fans in Wiesbaden are in for a sweeping performance on 24 June, when the musical icon will take to the open-air stage at the BRITA Arena at 8 p.m.
The international superstar singer can look back on an unparalleled discography of album and single releases. His music is part of pop music's DNA; Richie is one of only two songwriters in chart history to have had a number-one album for nine years in a row, with more than 100 million albums sold worldwide, winning an Oscar®, a Golden Globe®, four Grammy Awards®, and being named MusiCares Person of the Year in 2016 and Kennedy Center honouree in 2017.
Born in Tuskegee, Alabama, the musician and singer has become a true icon. The co-writer of one of the most important songs in pop history, "We Are the World", composed for the 'USA for Africa' project, Lionel Richie is famous for such mega-hits as "Endless Love", "Lady", or "All Night Long".
