Opelbad Neroberg
Spectacular view from Wiesbaden's own mountain
Surrounded by hillside vineyards and an expansive forest, the Opelbad is one of Wiesbaden's loveliest leisure facilities.
A foundation established by the Privy Councilor Dr. Wilhelm von Opel funded the construction of this magnificent summer pool on Wiesbaden's own hill, Neroberg, in 1934.
This historical swimming pool designed in the clear Bauhaus style offers pleasant water temperatures of at least 24 degrees Celsius; modern solar technology keeps the water at a constant temperature.
The 14,500 square metre swimming pool grounds on Wiesbaden's own hill is operated by mattiaqua and offers a unique view high above the city from an attractive restaurant and snack bar. Restaurant Wagner with its sunny glazed veranda is also accessible when the pool is closed and is an attractive spot anytime.
