What's happening in Wiesbaden?

The Theatrium – also known as Wilhelm Street Festival– has come to be the oldest street festival in Germany. During the two-day festival, guests may enjoy enactments by street performers, discover fancy and unique objects at the extensive arts and crafts market.

When Schierstein, a suburb of Wiesbaden located at the Rhine river, invites for its Harbour Festival, not only water and boat fans join the celebrations. For 71 years now, this festival has been a big summer event with an amusement park, water sports, a great range of music entertainment and a "culinary mile" along the harbour promenade.

Every August, the vintners from Wiesbaden and the Rheingau invite you to the longest wine bar in the world at the Wiesbaden Schlossplatz, Dern’sches Gelände and the square in front of the Market church.

From 29 June on the Museum Wiesbaden presents the Ferdinand Wolfgang Neess collection – one of the most significant European private collections of Art Nouveau and Symbolism.

The Rheingau Music Festival is one of Europe's largest music festivals, featuring more than 170 performances held in venues throughout the entire region between Frankfurt, Wiesbaden and the Middle Rhine Valley.

Whether visitors are looking for something specific or they just want to browse, flea markets always have a magnetic effect on them. The flea market takes place from March to October at "Am Parkfeld" in Wiesbaden-Biebrich every third Saturday of the month.
