Weingut Höhn

The agricultural tradition of the Höhn family in Dotzheim goes back over 300 years. After wine production had not played a role for generations, it was Wilhelm Höhn senior who offered local Dotzheimers wine in the bottle in 1979. The "Judenkirsch" location has since found its place among the Rheingau wines. Weingut Wilhelm Höhn has grown continuously since then, expanded the vineyards to Schierstein and Frauenstein, so that the premises in Dotzheim soon became too small. The ten year long search for a better, bigger production area has since found a happy end. Weingut Wilhelm Höhn, run by agricultural engineer and master vintner Jürgen Höhn today, has established itself on the Freudenberg.
