December!
What I'm really looking forward to this month:
- Making a pilgrimage to the 2,000 poinsettia Christmas tree in the Kurhaus like I do every year
- Meeting up with friends for cheese fondue at Wine in the Hood (opens in a new tab)
- To visit one of these - or preferably all - Christmas markets (opens in a new tab)
- Enjoying the view of the Christmassy city from the Ferris wheel (opens in a new tab) on Mauritiusplatz with hot chestnuts
- Getting in the mood for Christmas at the concert with Tiff from "The Room" (opens in a new tab) on December 14 at 6 pm in the Bergkirche
- Attending the "Satanarchäolügenialkohöllischer Wunschpunsch" (opens in a new tab) at the Hessisches Staatstheater with my godchild
- To let my gaze wander from the tower of the Marktkirche (opens in a new tab) over the Sternschnuppenmarkt on December 13 and 20
- To be enchanted by "The Little Prince" (opens in a new tab) at the Velvets Theater
- Doing something creative (opens in a new tab) - knitting a jumper, for example
- Enjoying Kässpatzen (opens in a new tab) with a view of Wiesbaden at the Chateau Néro
- Buying the good dominoes, Baumkuchen and a Stollen at Kunder (opens in a new tab)
- Try a sandwich in the new DELIS (opens in a new tab) store
- Store for gifts and beautiful little things at Gewürz-Müller (opens in a new tab)
- Relax in the warm thermal water at the Kaiser-Friedrich-Therme spa (opens in a new tab)
- Glide across the ice in front of the Kurhaus at Wiesbaden on Ice (opens in a new tab)
- Getting to know the city anew between the years - on foot and with this book (opens in a new tab) (which I also give away several times at Christmas)!
- Welcoming 2026 with the New Year's Concert at the Platte Hunting Lodge (opens in a new tab)
