Indian filmmaker Arjun Talwar came to Poland more than ten years ago, but still finds it difficult to fit into this world. Warsaw's Ulica Wilcza (Wolf Street), where he lives, is the heart of this humorous, very personal documentary. To further his integration, Talwar seeks out conversations with neighbors and passers-by. With the help of his girlfriend Mo Tan, a Chinese filmmaker, Arjun uncovers the city's secrets. He meets people who, like him, live between an imagined and a real home. He befriends a Polish Romani man and stays in touch with the postman.

Personal and overarching history overcomes barriers and provides comfort. The result is a picture of a modern Europe, a kaleidoscope of contradictions and fears. With humor and melancholy, Talwar portrays a country that is often still considered unwelcoming and holds up a mostly benevolent mirror to it.
