To round off the week, we are once again showing Burhan Qurbani's gripping drama, which tells the story of Rashida, the youngest daughter of an Arab clan who fights for power in Berlin's underworld.

A woman with long hair

Burhan Qurbani (BERLIN ALEXANDERPLATZ) completely reinterprets William Shakespeare's "Richard III" and relocates the story to the Berlin of today: on the streets of Berlin, the two large Arab families York and Lancaster fight for supremacy in the city. Rashida York, lawyer and youngest daughter of the York clan, of all people, helps her family to triumph with an attack on the heads of the Lancasters. However, as a woman, she has no chance of rising to the top. But Rashida continues to dream of becoming head of the clan and begins to spin intrigues.

Atmospherically dense, intense in content, visually austere and with precisely honed dialog, KEIN TIER. SO WILD. leads us into a world that seems familiar and yet is strange and alien: right into the middle of a relentless war between two families, in which the youngest daughter of one of them brutally and regardless of losses makes her way to the top with intrigue and murder - only to pay a high price in the end. The film celebrated its world premiere at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival.
