Summer wedding of Vivien & Dustin
"For us, the best day of our lives, which we all look back on fondly."
Our wedding date
September 2018
Planning & lead time
We requested and booked the hunting lodge 1 year in advance.
This is how we celebrated
- Free wedding ceremony in the rotunda,
- Bar in the south wing,
- Childcare in the east wing,
- Party in the west wing,
- Dinner on the upper floor,
- Buffet in the rotunda on the upper floor
Our tips for you
✔ The niches can be used wonderfully for great activities (e.g. photo box, candy bar, guest book, etc.)
✔ It's better to calculate a little more than too little. It's easy to forget to budget for some costs (e.g. stationery, flowers, decorations, photo box, tips, wedding rings, wedding dress + suit, guest gifts, etc.).
Highlight/favorite moment of the day
My favorite moment was walking up to the wedding table.
Breakdowns, bad luck & mishaps
I would advise any bride who wants to take care of the decorations or similar on her own to either book a set-up day or get a team of helpers to take care of the decorating while the bride gets ready for the big day.
Our service providers
