A powerful study of Majd and Shahfaisal, who live in a residential group for unaccompanied minor refugees in Germany. The documentary accompanies the two as they try to arrive here and obtain a permanent right to stay. But worries about their residence status and the fear of deportation hover over everything. At the same time, they are confronted with the high expectations of their own family, bureaucratic hurdles and the effects of a discourse on migration that is drifting ever further to the right.
