The pre-Christmas season in Wiesbaden is inextricably linked to the Sternschnuppenmarkt. From November 24 through December 23, Schlossplatz and the area in front of the Marktkirche will once again feature numerous Christmas stalls, a stage program, and activities for children.
The heart of the pre-Christmas season is the Sternschnuppen Market on Schloßplatz: At nearly 100 booths, visitors from near and far will find Christmas gift ideas, holiday decorations, leather goods, jewelry, and handcrafted items. Culinary delights and treats are available at more than 20 food stands. You’ll also find children’s punch, mulled wine in various flavors, and delicious hot beverages.

- Friday and Saturday: 10.30 am to 9.30 pm
- Sunday: 12 to 21 o'clock
Stage program and organ music
Visitors can look forward to a wide variety of entertainment on the stage in front of City Hall.
Christmas crib
Every year, the so-called "town crib", which represents the stable of Bethlehem, stands directly in front of the Christmas tree.
