Forest Christmas Chausseehaus
During the forest Christmas in the Chauseehaus, red and white mulled wine, non-alcoholic punch, game goulash and game sausage, flamed salmon and vegetarian dishes are served on six Advent weekends before Christmas Eve. A unique and festive atmosphere is created in the Christmas-decorated pagoda tents. There are also fire pits and numerous activities on offer for visitors on alternate Advent weekends.

A Christmas market with a castle backdrop and a view of the Rhine - the Advent spirit could hardly be more festive. The Biebrich Christmas market at the palace is a real neighbourhood project: this is the fourth time that the Biebrich clubs and associations working group has organized this atmospheric event. In front of the impressive palace façade, lovingly decorated huts invite you to linger. There, dedicated volunteers serve mulled wine and offer waffles, bratwurst, currywurst, gyros as well as Turkish and Greek specialties. Numerous clubs and initiatives from Biebrich also present themselves. The carousel and a visit from Santa Claus on December 6 at 4 pm will make children's eyes light up.

On the weekend of the 2nd Advent, Schloss Vollrads once again opens its Christmas courtyard with numerous exhibitors of fine handicrafts, a colorful children's program, Christmas music and a variety of delicious dishes from the estate restaurant and mulled wine. Admission free!

For 30 years, the community of the Christmas Market of Nations in Rüdesheim am Rhein has been celebrating Advent and pre-Christmas in a special way: Over 20 nations from 4 continents offer goods, specialties, customs and traditions for the season: good and beautiful things from East and West, from Europe and overseas. The Rüdesheim Christmas Market will take place from November 20 to December 23, 2025.
On the first weekend of Advent, the historic Ankermühle in Oestrich-Winkel is traditionally transformed into a magical Christmas world. Festively decorated rooms, a magnificent Christmas tree on the terrace and lovely decorations create a very special atmosphere. In the atmospherically lit interior rooms, including the Ankermühle wine cellar, selected artisans present their unique handmade items. Culinary delights also leave nothing to be desired: In the inner courtyard, visitors can enjoy Breton oysters, tarte flambée from the stone oven, hearty dishes from the winter barbecue, a vegetarian winter stew and sweet treats such as Christmas stollen and coffee.

The Eltville Christmas market attracts visitors to Eltville's old town from December 6 to 7. The Christmas scent of waffles, mulled wine and oranges wafts over Eltville's old town and puts everyone in a wonderful Christmas mood.
The Glühweinzauber at Schloss Johannisberg takes place from November 28th to December 26th. The opening hours are Tuesday to Thursday from 2 pm and Friday to Sunday from 11 am - only in good weather! In addition to mulled wine, there are also a few culinary delights and two curling lanes. This is only operated by us, not by Schloss Johannisberg itself.
The Goetheblick will also be open with mulled wine during the winter months when the sun is shining.
The Christmas market at Hofgut Adamstal delights visitors with its particularly homely atmosphere - the rustic wood paneling of the historic estate alone provides warmth and charm. Atmospheric lights, rustic winter decorations and festively decorated huts complete the picture. Mulled wine, barbecued game specialties from the estate's own hunting grounds, soups and homemade delicacies from the Adamstal kitchen as well as sweet temptations from cinnamon buns to crêpes await you there. It will also be magical for children: they can look forward to a carousel, the children's Christmas cinema and pony rides. Baking bread on a stick at the crackling campfire invites you to join in, while the stalls offer cheese, fresh bread and treats from the Adamstal Christmas bakery.

Every year, the Christmas market in Idstein's picturesque old town is one of the most atmospheric in the region. For three days, the festively illuminated half-timbered backdrop invites you to stroll, discover and enjoy. Visitors can find handcrafted products, gift ideas and seasonal culinary specialties in the lovingly decorated wooden huts. In the town hall underpass, the "living nativity scene" with the Holy Family and their animals enchants young visitors in particular. The trombone choir and various music groups provide the perfect musical backdrop, bathing the market square in the sounds of Christmas.
