Wiesbaden committed
The "Wiesbaden Engagiert!" campaign week initiates and supports cooperation projects between companies and non-profit organizations. The campaign is coordinated by the Business Cooperation Department at the Office for Social Work.
Wiesbaden Congress & Marketing GmbH and TriWiCon have been taking part in "Wiesbaden Engagiert!" for many years. for many years. A dedicated team of employees supports the annual summer festival of the Protestant pastoral care for the disabled with technical organization, set-up and dismantling, food donations and a lot of heart and soul during the event.
The festival, which takes place annually on the first Friday of the action week, was celebrated in 2024 on June 21 with around 100 guests and 14 employees of Wiesbaden Congress & Marketing GmbH and TriWiCon.
A second project was also supported for the first time: The JIZ - Wiesbaden's youth information center in Schwalbacher Straße - which has now been in existence for around one and a half years, was spruced up by eight employees on Monday, June 24. Painting work was carried out and a planting bed was installed and designed.
What is "Wiesbaden Engagiert!"?
The "Wiesbaden Engagiert!" campaign week brings together municipal employees, companies and non-profit organizations in Wiesbaden with the aim of getting involved in joint projects during a campaign period and using their own, often manual and creative skills.
"Wiesbaden Engagiert!" celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2024 and once again set an impressive example for the social commitment of companies in the region. A new record was even set:
1,700 employees from 112 companies got involved in 138 projects at 110 charitable organizations.
Starting with a single day of action in 2005, "Wiesbaden Engagiert!" has developed into a week of action since 2014 that moves thousands of people every year and strengthens cohesion in Wiesbaden. These days are full of commitment, creative project ideas and great solidarity between the partners.
"Every year, we are delighted with the great support from Wiesbaden Congress & Marketing at our annual summer festival. After many years, we are already a well-rehearsed team."
Pastor Rolf Haller from the Förderkreis der Behindertenseelsorge Wiesbaden e.V.
