Our learning
- By 2025: 15,000 companies in Germany and 50,000 companies in Europe are to become active in implementing sustainable processes in the event industry - strong growth in the service of sustainability!
- The focus is on event organizers: they are responsible for transparency along the entire value chain. This means that they must collect and disclose the sustainability data of their service providers in order to consistently implement their sustainability strategies.
- Service providers also have clear requirements: They not only have to collect and disclose their own sustainability data, but also document that of their suppliers.
The results of the survey of all participants, which showed which topics should be the focus of future meetings, were also exciting. Special attention will be paid to sustainable mobility - a topic that will also be addressed at Convention Wiesbaden as part of the "Sustainable Mobility" event on 29.10.2024 .
