WICM at "Wiesbaden gets involved!" 2025
Wiesbaden Congress & Marketing GmbH and its parent municipal holding company, TriWiCon, are participating in "Wiesbaden engagiert!" with three projects this year.
Summer party of the pastoral care for the disabled
Independently of the campaign week, which has been postponed to September this year, a team of dedicated employees supported the inclusive summer festival of the Wiesbaden pastoral care for the disabled on the grounds of the Protestant St. Thomas parish on June 27, 2025. Here, active support was needed in setting up/dismantling, at the cake buffet, at the barbecue station and with various games. WICM also made it possible for Luke Greenstone, who made a name for himself on "The Voice of Germany" in 2019, to perform.
"Once again this year, it was a matter close to our hearts to actively support the organization of the summer party with around 12 employees, even independently of the "Wiesbaden engagiert!" campaign period," explains Simon Rottloff, authorized signatory at WICM GmbH.
Painting work at Diakonie Wiesbaden Rheingau-Taunus
At the project exchange organized in the run-up to the event, WICM was able to find two additional project partners alongside the pastoral care for the disabled in the Protestant deanery in Wiesbaden. On the one hand, eight employees of TriWiCon/Wiesbaden Congress & Marketing GmbH took on the "Dry and beautiful" project at the Wiesbaden Rheingau-Taunus Regional Deaconry. As a non-profit organization, the Wiesbaden Rheingau-Taunus Regional Deaconry helps people in difficult circumstances. Within the area of social participation, formerly homeless people who want to live abstinently are looked after in the two residential groups in the so-called "dry dock". Clients receive support in dealing with individual problems, maintaining their abstinence and reintegrating into society. The staff have repainted the communal areas and corridors of the residential groups, thus creating a feel-good atmosphere and comfort for the residents.
Flyer for youth work in Wiesbaden
In addition, WICM's graphics department supports the "JUZERIA" youth center in Wiesbaden by designing a flyer. The "JUZERIA" of the Westend Youth Center has been regularly baking and distributing pizza for homeless and homeless people in Wiesbaden since 2023. The flyer helps to make the JUZERIA better known among young people and at the same time attract sponsors for the campaigns.
