Assortment of goods

We only sell artisan cheese and sausage products from over 60 different small producers in Italy. All our products are hand-picked by us, selected piece by piece and checked on site for quality and ripeness. We personally transport all our products from Italy to Wiesbaden in our own refrigerated vehicle.

About us

Handmade cheese
We stock both raw milk cheese and cheese made from pasteurized milk.
The milk for the pasteurized cheese is pasteurized by the farms themselves. All our cheeses have a natural rind and are untreated; there are no harmful additives on the cheese rind. Many of our cheeses are further ripened by us to reach the peak of their flavor. They are constantly maturing, even in your fridge. Some cheeses become unattractive during the maturing process. They change due to the influence of mold, cheese cultures or moisture. Nevertheless, this gives them a variety of additional flavors.

Our sausage products are still handmade by small businesses.
All additives used are reduced to a minimum in order to guarantee the legally prescribed quantities.
We declare all ingredients in the packaged goods.
Without exception, we cut and pack all our sausage products ourselves in our refrigerated processing room in order to be able to offer you the best possible quality.
All the plastic films and vacuum bags we use are free from bisphenol A and volatile plasticizers and are therefore completely harmless to health.


Animal husbandry
We attach particular importance to the fact that the butchers we work with use regional livestock breeds, some of which are threatened with extinction, for their sausage products. As we are regularly on site, we see all of the butchers' production steps and know many of the farmers, who are often in the immediate vicinity, as well as their pastures and stables. We are allowed to inspect all documents relating to the farms' origins and animal husbandry at any time.

Availability
As we only work with very small Italian cheese dairies and butchers, it is not possible for us to keep all products in stock at all times. In addition, many products are only available on a seasonal or irregular basis.
