Berthold Nengel started beekeeping over 50 years ago with just a few bee colonies. Increased demand for our honey products and successful beekeeping led to the original hobby becoming a profession in the 1980s. As a purely family-run business, we are busy all year round with the many tasks and work associated with the bee colony. For our family business, now in its second generation, it is only natural that all our honeys are cold-spun, naturally pure and completely free from additives. We have been a member of the German Beekeepers' Association since 1955 and only fill our honey into its standardized jars. It is a matter of course for us that our customers can return the jars in return for a deposit.<br />Thanks to our membership of the German Beekeepers' Association, our honey is constantly monitored. The results of these quality tests have so far never given cause for complaint.
