Getting Here

Two minutes walkway from the Kurhaus there is a parking garage with a capacity of 400 spaces and under the Bowling Green an underground parking offers its 430 parking spaces.

The Rhine-Main area, with the capital of the State of Hesse, Wiesbaden, is considered the geographical center of the Federal Republic of Germany. At the same time, this region is characterized by business and banking concentration which naturally makes it easily accessible.

The Frankfurt Airport – No. 1 on the European continent – has just added a second international terminal – and is only 20 minutes by taxi, 35 minutes by commuter train away from Wiesbaden.

The Wiesbaden train station is a stop on many important Eurocity and Intercity lines with direct connections to foreign countries. There is also the S-Bahn, the commuter train line, with direct connections to the Rhein-Main-Airport and the cities of Frankfurt and Mainz.

Since 1995 the Rhein-Main Transport Authority is offering tickets which are valid on all Federal German Railroad trains and public city buses in the region. Wiesbaden is part of the Rhein-Main Transport Authority which includes Marburg, Fulda, the Main-Kinzig area, Mainz and Rheingau-Taunus.

It is no problem to get to Wiesbaden via the Autobahn (highway, free of toll). You can hardly miss the signs how to get where you want.

For downtown parking you will find a number of public parking garages; a modern guiding system leads directly to the free parking possibilities. Visitors arriving by car will find a total of 5.106 parking spaces in the 11 parking garages located in downtown Wiesbaden. A further 1.490 parking spaces are available on 5 larger parking lots.
