In 1875, Wilhelm Mohr founded his winery in Lorch; a man whose predecessors had moved from Spain with its oriental character to the Rheingau in 1550. Today, the winery stands for the best premium wines and regularly wins awards. Weingut Mohr practices modern, ecological viticulture.
